Protective Gas: Argon is chemically highly stable; it is neither combustible nor a combustion supporter. It serves to protect metals from oxidation during casting processes (such as steelmaking, aluminum smelting, etc.) and welding operations (including aircraft and shipbuilding, mechanical welding, etc.) [5-6]. Additionally, it is used to fill light bulbs, protecting the filament and extending the bulb's lifespan.

Carrier Gas: It functions as an inert carrier gas in laboratory or industrial gas systems, utilized in applications such as column chromatography and various industrial production processes.

Other Specialized Applications: These include uses in inductively coupled plasma (ICP) systems, as a protective gas for pharmaceuticals, and as a low-thermal-conductivity insulating layer.
