The evaluation of test results is primarily based on a standard curve, through which measured chromatographic peak area or peak height data are converted into specific concentrations or contents of nitrous oxide. The core basis for evaluation is the maximum permissible residue limit or usage limit stipulated in standard GB 2760. If the measured value of a sample falls below or equals the limit value prescribed by the standard, it is deemed compliant; conversely, if it exceeds the limit value, it is deemed non-compliant. For process monitoring samples, the results may be utilized to assess process stability.

 

The final test report must clearly include key elements such as sample information, testing basis, instrumentation used, test results, evaluation conclusion, applicable limit standards, and the testing date. Numerical values ​​presented in the report should undergo uncertainty assessment or rounding to the appropriate number of significant figures in accordance with the requirements of the testing method, thereby ensuring their scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
